Wilderness and Shadows

A Lenten journey reflecting on the shadowy, wilderness areas of life: examining what is broken and lost before
we are able to step into the experience of resurrection.
The Lenten season, which leads up to Good Friday, is one of the most important times to look carefully at our lives and at this world in the dim light before Easter. In it we can see parts of ourselves and our journey that have shaped us, but which are in need of healing, burdens we carry that we are in need of leaving; we can see places of loneliness and wounds that require attention, and we can pay attention to our shadows that do not
always reflect who we want to be.

Gather with Presbyterian Women this Ash Wednesday to spend time in faith and reflection on how to honor these parts of ourselves and move forward towards the resurrection.
Plan to bring a sandwich. Beverage & cookies will be provided.
