Global Exchange to Indonesia
September 12–29, 2017
Building Bridges of Understanding
“. . . so that we may be mutually encouraged by each
other’s faith, both yours and mine” (Rom. 1:12).
Every three years, a group of Presbyterian women travels
to another part of the world to hear the joys and pain that
our sisters there experience, and to share faith stories and
ministries with one another.
It is a global exchange because the following year, a group
of women from the same part of the world is invited to itinerate
in synods and participate in the Churchwide Gathering
of Presbyterian Women, to share their stories.
Building bridges of understanding, as sisters in Christ
we will:
• learn how to live respectfully in a multifaith culture and
• encourage and accompany one another as together
we seek a more peaceful and just world.
