The theme of this Gathering was Daily WALK with GOD, Power for Living. “Jesus Said … Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness …” — John 8:12

We arrived Friday and after unpacking and greeting friends, the Business meeting included installation of new CT members, and we had a PW Birthday Party! All former moderators were invited; the five in attendance spoke and those unable to attend sent letters that were read.

Jyung In (Jenny) Lee was commissioned as Global Exchange partner and presented with gifts of scarves, knitted by women from around the Synod, to share with hosts in Eastern Europe. Saturday activities included plenary with keynote address by Lucy Janjigian, a Bible Study led by Jane MacDonald, workshops creating origami worry boxes, walking the labyrinth, or massage therapy. Our “Camp Fire” was a Mala Meal. Sunday morning worship and communion led by the Rev. Ann Shamy and the Rev. Betsy Jay included lovely liturgical dance by “Flowing Psalms,” a ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Jamaica, NY. Linda Springstead provided wonderful musical accompaniment to the weekend.
